Acer ships 10.96 mln PCs in Q3

Oct. 19, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Taiwan-based Acer Inc, the world's third-largest PC brand, saw global PC shipments grow 25.6% year on year to 10.96 million units in the third quarter of this year and ranked second after PC brand HP, which shipped 15.79 million PCs, according to statistics recently released by research firm Interactive Data Corp. Acer surpassed Dell in terms of third quarter PC
