Hon Hai to invest in real estate project in Chengdu: report

Oct. 16, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Taiwan-based Hon Hai Precision Industry Co, the biggest contract manufacturer of electronics in the world, is likely to ink an agreement with the Chengdu municipal government today to tap into the local real estate market, sources reported. Edmund Ding, spokesman of Hon Hai, confirmed that the firm has investment plans in Chengdu but declined to reveal details.
