Oct. 16, 2009 (China Knowledge) - BYD Co<1211>, China's largest rechargeable battery maker and a well-known automobile producer, sold a record of 44,000 vehicles last month, representing a robust year-on-year increase of 88%.
During the first nine months of this year, BYD sold approximately 300,000 vehicles, accounting for 75% of the company's full-year sales target for 2009.
