CNOOC eyes onshore oil blocks in Nigeria

Oct. 6, 2009 (China Knowledge) - CNOOC Ltd<0883><CEO>, the listed unit of China National Offshore Oil Corporation, is in talks with the Nigerian government in order to obtain drilling rights for several large onshore oil blocks, sources reported. Around 20 onshore blocks is offered to overseas oil firms this time, according to a representative of Nigeria's state oil company, revealing
