Sep. 29, 2009 (China Knowledge) - The Taiwanese central bank on Thursday announced that the broad money supply, M2, grew 8.17% in August, compared with the same period of last year.
The growth rate was lower than the 8.33% recorded in July mainly because of a higher comparison base in August 2008, according to the central bank's statement.
