Sep. 24, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Hong Kong stocks fell on Thursday. The Hang Seng Index, the benchmark, opened 209 points lower at Thursday. After touching the intraday low of 20,963.37 points, the blue-chip Hang Seng Index fell 544.79 points or 2.52% to close at 12,050.73.
Mainboard turnover rose to HK$78.69 billion.
