Sep. 2, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Chinese stocks opened nearly flat on Wednesday morning.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A shares and B shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, opened at 2,681.33 points, down 0.09% or 2.39 points from the previous closing.
The Shenzhen Component Index on the smaller Shenzhen Stock Exchange opened 1.04% or 110.89 points lower at 10,503.39
