Powertech to buy Spansion's plant in Suzhou

Aug. 28, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Taiwan-based Powertech Technology Inc announced that it will spend US$51 million on acquisition of flash memory maker Spansion's manufacturing plant in Suzhou, mainland China. Powertech's subsidiary Powertech Holdings will pay US$495.17 a share for 102,995 shares of Spansion Holdings (Singapore) Pte Ltd. A PR representative of Powertech told China Knowledge New
