Hang Seng Index opens 107 points higher on Wed

Aug. 26, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Hong Kong stocks rose on Wednesday morning, with the benchmark Hang Seng Index opening 107 points higher at 20,542. The Hang Seng China Enterprise Index, which tracks the overall performance of 43 mainland Chinese state-owned enterprises on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, opened 69 points higher at 11,724.
