Aug. 25, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Chinese stocks ended lower in the morning trading session on Tuesday, dragged by steel, financial and real estate stocks.
The Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A shares and B shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, fell 3.35% or 100 points to close at 2,893 points in the morning session.
