BYD's new EV battery plant finishes construction

Aug. 21, 2009 (China Knowledge) - BYD Co<1211>, China's largest rechargeable battery maker and a well-known automobile producer, recently finished construction on its electric vehicle battery production base in Huizhou, Guangdong Province, sources reported. The new base, which involves a total investment of RMB 5 billion, will produce mobile phone parts, rechargeable batteries and auto part
