KazMunaiGaz, CNPC postpone US$3.3-bln deal

Aug. 12, 2009 (China Knowledge) - KazMunaiGaz, a state-owed oil firm of Kazakhstan, has announced that it has delayed the US$3.3-billion sale of an upstream firm MangistauMunaiGaz to China National Petroleum Corp, sources reported. A spokesman of KazMunaiGaz said that the two sides have agreed to postpone the deal due to some unresolved problems, but he did not specify when the deal would be clos
