Aug. 11, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Chinese stocks opened higher on Tuesday morning.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A shares and B shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, opened at 3,261.41 points, up 0.36% or 11.65 points from the previous closing.
The Shenzhen Component Index on the smaller Shenzhen Stock Exchange opened 0.46% or 59.44 points higher at 13,033.09 points.
