China announces subsidies for solar power projects

Jul. 23, 2009 (China Knowledge) - The Chinese government on Tuesday announced a two- to three-year pilot program subsidizing solar-power projects to speed up development of renewable energy, according to a statement released by China's Ministry of Finance on its website on Tuesday.
