Hang Seng Index opens 184 points higher on Thu

Jul. 23, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Hong Kong stocks rose on Thursday morning, with the benchmark Hang Seng Index opening 184 points higher at 19,432. The Hang Seng China Enterprise Index, which tracks the overall performance of 43 mainland Chinese state-owned enterprises on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, opened 109 points higher at 11,590.
