Whirlpool's China JV launches production

Jul. 17, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Hisense-Whirlpool (Zhejiang) Electric Appliances Co Ltd, a 50:50 joint venture between Hisense Kelon Electrical Holdings Co<000921><0921> and Whirlpool (Hong Kong) Ltd, on Wednesday announced that it has begun production in a new plant in its home appliance industrial zone in Changxing, a county in Zhejiang Province.
