Jul. 17, 2009 (China Knowledge) - China's retail sales reached RMB 5.87 trillion in the first half of this year, representing a year-on-year rise of 15%, said the National Bureau of Statistics on Thursday.
The H1 growth, taking into account the effects of price changes, may have reached 16.6%, 3.7 percentage points higher than the growth in the same period of last year, according to the NBS.
