Jul. 15, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Chinese stocks opened slightly higher on Tuesday morning, tracking gains from the previous closing day.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A shares and B shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, opened at 3,088.58 points, up 0.26% or 8.02 points from the previous closing.
