China starts construction on jumbo-jet R&D center

Jul. 8, 2009 (China Knowledge) - China on Monday kicked off construction of a research and development (R&D) center for its jumbo jet project in Shanghai, the country's business hub, the official Xinhua News Agency reported.The R&D center is located in the southern section of the Zhangjiang Hi-tech Park, and covers an area of 80 hectares.
