Hang Seng Index opens 180 points higher on Fri

Jun. 19, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Hong Kong stocks rose on Friday morning, with the benchmark Hang Seng Index opening 180 points higher at 17,936.The Hang Seng China Enterprise Index, which tracks the overall performance of 43 mainland Chinese state-owned enterprises on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, opened 108 points higher at 10,530. Air China Ltd<601111><0753> rose 2.26% to HK$3.62.
