Hang Seng Index opens 197 points higher on Tue

Jun. 9, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Hong Kong stocks rose on Tuesday morning, with the benchmark Hang Seng Index opening 197 points higher at 18,451.The Hang Seng China Enterprise Index, which tracks the overall performance of 43 mainland Chinese state-owned enterprises on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, opened 108 points higher at 10,776.
