Sichuan Changhong shifts toward energy-efficient air conditioners

Jun. 5, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Sichuan Changhong Electric Co Ltd<600839>, one of China's top home appliance manufacturers, on Wednesday announced that it has halted the production of some air conditioners that were below the country's second-level energy efficiency standard, sources reported.The company also launched 37 new models with high energy efficiency.
