Chairman raises holdings in Chinese Estates

Jun. 1, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Tycoon Joseph Lau Luen-hung, the chairman of Chinese Estates Holdings Ltd<0127>, has raised his shareholding in the company to 71.11% from the previous 71.07%, sources reported.According to statistics released by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEx), on May 27, Lau bought 807,500 shares of Chinese Estates for HK$9.43 million or HK$11.68 apiece.
