May. 26, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Chinese stocks opened nearly flat on Tuesday morning.The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A shares and B shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, opened at 2,615.01 points, up 0.19% or 5 points from the previous closing.The Shenzhen Component Index on the smaller Shenzhen Stock Exchange opened 0.05% or 5.52 points lower at 10,176.64 points.
