May 11, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Hong Kong stocks climbed 289.20 points or 1.66% to end the morning session at 17,679.07 points, with mainboard turnover standing at HK$51.169 billion.
The Hang Seng China Enterprise Index, which tracks the overall performance of 43 Chinese mainland state-owned enterprises on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, swelled 62.83 points to 10,114.73 points.
