Apr. 29, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Chinese stocks opened slightly higher on Wednesday.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A shares and B shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, opened slightly higher at 2,401.66 points, up 0.01% or 0.22 points from Tuesday.
The Shenzhen Component Index on the smaller Shenzhen Stock Exchange opened 0.07% or 6.58 points lower at 9,097.72 point
