Chinese stocks open 0.15% lower on Mon
Apr. 20, 2009 (China Knowledge) - Chinese stocks opened slightly lower on Monday morning extending last Friday's losses.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A shares and B shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, opened slightly lower at 2,500.17, down 0.15% or 3.77 points from last Friday.
The Shenzhen Component Index on the smaller Shenzhen Stock Exchange opened 0.21% or 20.45 points lower at 9,559.61 points.
