Feb. 26, 2009 (China Knowledge) - China Railway Group Ltd<601390><390>, the country's leading railway and highway builder, yesterday announced that its subsidiaries have won bids for several railway construction projects worth RMB 22.6 billion in total.

China Railway No.3 Engineering Group Co, China Railway No.1 Engineering Group Co and China Railway Tunnel Group won the bid of NGZQ-4, NGZQ-6 and NGZQ-8 sections of Nanning-Guangzhou railway projects, respectively. The combined bid price is RMB 10 billion.

China Railway No. 3 Engineering also won the bid for HYZQ-1 section of Hangzhou-Ningbo passenger railway, with bid price of RMB 6.2 billion.

China Railway Tunnel Group won the bid of LYS-3 section of Lanzhou-Chongqing railway projects and the tunnel projects of Taishan Nuclear Power Station in Guangdong Province. The bid price is around RMB 5.33 billion and RMB 1.02 billion, respectively.
