Jan. 26, 2010 (China Knowledge) - China Resources Power Holdings Co Ltd<0836>, the country's fourth-largest listed power company by market value, has announced that its total operational attributable capacity amounted to 18,124 megawatts as of Jan. 22, sources reported.
In recent days, the energy firm commenced operation at three coal-fired projects, one of which is a 300-MW heat and power co-generation unit at Dengkou Plant, which is located in Bayannur, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and is 75%-owned by the firm.
The other two coal-fired projects are both wholly owned by the enterprise. A 300-MW unit in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province began operation on Dec, 1. A 600-MW unit in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province completed a 168-hour full load trial run and started operation on Jan. 21.
The Hong Kong-listed firm recently also began operating 12 2-MW wind turbine generators in a 95%-owned wind-power project in Penglai, Shandong Province.
