May. 23, 2013 (China Knowledge) - Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile Co Ltd, a joint venture between PSA Peugeot Citroen and China's Dongfeng Motor Corp, has said that its auto sales hit 45,303 units in April, 36.64% more than in the same month of 2012.

In the first four months of this year, Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile’s auto sales surged 32.31% YoY to 187,978 units.

From January to April 2013, the JV's saw its sales of Citroen brand vehicles grow 28.89% YoY to 91,638 units, mainly boosted by good sales of Citroen Sega model.

Meanwhile the automaker’s sales of Peugeot brand vehicles amounted to 96,340 units during the period, up 35.73% from a year earlier.
