Jun 20 (China Knowledge) - Sinohydro Group Ltd<601669>, a Chinese dam builder, has announced that it inked RMB 62.92 billion worth of new contracts in the first five months of this year, 7.2% less than it realized in the same period of 2012.
According to a statement filed with Shanghai Stock Exchange, the company inked RMB 33.54 billion worth of domestic contracts during the five month period, including RMB 11.24 billion worth of hydroelectric projects.
Meanwhile, the dam builder signed RMB 29.38 billion worth of foreign contracts in the first five months, accounting for 46.69% of the total.
In the first quarter of this year, the Chinese dam builder saw its net profit increase 12.03% year on year to RMB 807.83 million, and the company realized RMB 27.86 billion in operations revenue in the three month period.
