
May. 20, 2013 (China Knowledge) - China's National Statistic Bureau has announced prices of new residential properties in 67 out of 70 Chinese major cities increase in April this year with growth not exceeding 32.1%.
Only one city saw nearly unchanged prices of new residential properties last month, and prices in two cities decrease sequentially.
On an annual basis, 2 of the 70 Chinese major cities saw price declines in new residential properties in April 2013. Meanwhile prices in the rest 68 cities increased sequentially with growth not exceeding 13.7%.
In China's resale residential property market, only one of the 70 Chinese major cities suffered price declines last month from on a sequential basis, while 66 cities had saw prices increases.
On an annual basis, 6 of the 70 Chinese major cities had price decrease in resale residential properties last month, Meanwhile 64 cities had seen growth in prices in April.
