China's new home prices down in 66 major cities in Feb

Mar 18, 2015 (China Knowledge) – China's National Statistics Bureau has announced that prices of new residential properties in 66 out of 70 major Chinese cities decreased month on month in Feb 2015 with decrease not exceeding 1.3%.

 

Two cities saw nearly unchanged prices of new residential properties last month, and prices in two cities increased sequentially.

 

On an annual basis, 69 of the 70 major Chinese cities saw price declines in new residential properties in Feb 2015. Meanwhile prices in Xiamen remained flat from a year earlier.

 

In China's resale residential property market, 61 Chinese major cities suffered price declines last month on a sequential basis.

 

On an annual basis, 69 out of the 70 Chinese major cities had price decreases in resale residential properties last month. Meanwhile, only one city saw growth in prices in Feb.
