Audi's sale in China up 15.6% in Jul to 1/3 its global sales

August 11, 2014 (China Knowledge) Audi AG, a German subsidiary of Volkswagen AG, has said its auto sales in its largest single market, China, reached 48,279 units in Jul this year, up 15.6% from a year earlier.


The figure last month accounted for 33.5% of Audi’s global sales.


Last month, the German automaker sold 8,052 units of Q3 model, reflecting a year on year increase of 98.4%, while its sales of A6L model grew 20.9% from a year earlier to 14,061 units.


In the first seven months of this year, Audi AG saw its auto sales in China amount to 316,945 units, 17.4% more than it realized in the same period of 2013 and account for 31.3% of its global sales.
