Shanghai Fengjing Industrial Park (Shanghai Fengjing IP) consists of Shanghai Fengjing Town Industrial Zone and Xingta Industrial Zone. The park, covering an area of 23.8 sq km, was established in 1998, and won approval from the Shanghai municipal government to be a municipal-level development zone in 2006.

The park is located in Fengjing Town, Jinshan District in the southwestern part of Shanghai. Fengjing Town is located at the intersection of Shanghai, Jiangsu Province and Zhejiang Province. The Shanghai-Hangzhou Expressway, the Shanghai-Hangzhou Railway, State Highway 320 and Zhufeng Road go through the city, connecting Fengjing with other cities and provinces in the Yangtze River Delta. The park is a mere 35 minutes' drive from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport and a further 15 minutes from Shanghai Pudong International Airport. Shanghai Port, which was recognized as the largest port in China in terms of container throughput in 2013, is within an hour's drive.

Xingta Industrial Zone
Textiles and related industries are the major industries in Xingta Industrial Zone. The development of Xingta Industrial Zone is boosted by neighboring regions; Zhejiang Province and Jiangsu Province are two of the major textile bases in China. Jiangsu’s textile sales account for nearly one-fourth of China’s total. Shanghai Lotus Garment Co Ltd, set up in 1997, is located in the zone. With registered capital of RMB 5 million, it has an annual production capacity of 2.5 million garments.

Shanghai Fengjing Town Industrial Zone
Shanghai Fengjing Town Industrial Zone which wes established in 1988, in 2013, it realized a gross industrial output value of RMB 12.06 billion, dropped 0.1% than a year earlier. The zone encourages investment in automobiles and motor parts and accessories, metal products processing and textiles.

The zone is divided into Sections A, B and C. Shanghai Textiles Industry Pilot Zone, the largest textile industry zone in Shanghai, was jointly set up in Section A in 2003 by China National Textile Industry Council, Shanghai Textile Group and the government of Jinshan District. Major investors in Section A include Shanghai Te Yi Tong Dynamics Machinery and Shanghai Shenan Textile Co Ltd.

Section B, which focuses on producing automobile parts and rice wine, has attracted investment from Maple Automobiles and Fengjing Rice Wine. Section C specializes in textile equipment manufacturing. Shanghai International Textiles Equipment Town, covering an area of 3.97 sq km, is located in Section C. Shanghai Jiatian Textile Machinery and Shanghai Sewing Equipment have also entered Section C. In 2014, the GDP of the zone rose 4.44% and reached RMB 25.13 billion. The total import and export value grew 11.7% and exceeded US$32.4 billion. In 2014, the FDI of the zone reached US$40 billion.
